Hurricane Ridge

On Saturday some friends called and invited us to go with them to Hurricane Ridge (about an hour from our house).

The day was beautiful and we were so excited to see this place we'd heard so much about! We drove about 14 miles up the mountain and hiked around some trails at the top. The scenery was absolutely spectacular. These pictures are great, but nothing like seeing it in person. I held on to my children tightly, to be sure!!

We were all sad when it was time to leave!

Oh wow, those pictures are beautiful! Looks like a great time. The drive sure feels long to me though. But I guess it's worth it. Was it very cold?
